Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics of Materials IWMFEM examples for the application of ThoMat computational software tools are given for Abaqus and Ansys based on single elements, loaded under LCF and TMF conditions. The examples can be used to gain familiarity with how the finite element analysis with ThoMat computational software tools works. The respective video tutorials support inexperienced as well as advanced engineers in the application of the examples, and remarks on best practices in the video tutorials allow for more practice in the application of ThoMat computational software.
